In the news here they claim the tunnel is loaded with all sorts of booby traps. So yeah, there is a certain Indiana Jones - ish- about it

Been following this news.

Terrible story, if typical of the Nazis, apparently the family whose house was right alongside of the tracks and had excellent visuals on the area were murdered, presumably to eliminate witnesses.

Hopefully they'll manage to extract this without further loss of life.

Let us hope not. I'd like to read about some lost, priceless object d'arte that I've never heard of has been recovered and returned to a museum.

Yeah, I think I found this train already in Medal of Honor on my PS 1. It should be safe as I offed all the Nazi guards with my Thompson and a few Med Packs. ;D

Poland's claims on the train are going to be interesting if there are actually stolen art pieces aboard - the legal battles would probably last decades.

Should there be any gold, a few bars of should go on display in a museum, the rest should be liquidated to pay reparations to any surviving holocaust, and other war crimes victims and their families.
