As if I needed another game, trapped in its shrink, taunting me...

I've been holding off on playing more Warfighter (Dan Verssen Games' Game of Special Forces Combat what's Not Bayonet Games' Warfighter) pending the release of the footlocker and now it would seem, based on my shipping notice, to be on its way.

Per the slip, it weighs more than SEVEN POUNDS...AWESOME...

You didn't know? My Corps has already sailed to Berlin. We got there 3 days ago and we've been in the Tiergarten on the piss ever since. -- Marshal Soult, October 1806

Ohhh... that means my copy should be shipping from NWS soon too!  O0

I feel a tourney level game coming in June.....  ;)

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

I've only played one game of Warfighter.  It didn't quite grab me like I expected so I need some more playthroughs before final judgement.

Do these new expansions add anything notable, other than new nationalities?

No new rules and the like if that's what you mean.

It's a shedload of more kit, new missions, some pretty cool-sounding campaign scenarios designed by the community, the hard-backed board that should have shipped with the original, and a very sporty footlocker to hold all of it.  It is a TON of cards...

I've never played it solo so can't speak to that experience, but it's a good time MP once you realize that every player can contribute cards to ever other player pretty much at any time.
