An existing standing body of water would be pretty big, no? Until something comes out of it and eats the NASA rover. Then it would be really big.

Turns out the news is that they have found no evidence so far of non-frozen water ever existing on Mars.

One subtle reason this counts as big news, is that it connects to theories about what dug those huge canyons. Apparently not liquid water. Maybe arc electricity? (That's my current favorite theoOMG THAT'S A PUN!  :D )
