So you checked the tracking number list with your actual name and tracking number?

http://bdgames.pl/tracking_numbers.txt

That's the one in which my tracking number was actually the one before my name, not after.  But that's the revised version with the proper tracking #s next to the backer names, in column.

Do a Ctrl+F (Find) on that page and type in your KS-listed name, if you haven't already.

If you've already done so, then I was mistaken in thinking you had only checked that older vague post with only two or three tracking numbers.  I'm also unsure as to whether the Canadian postal stuff is listed on that one.  They look to be mostly (all?) US postal trackers.

Yep, the sorted list you linked to is the one I've been looking at.

So they didn't provide tracking numbers for Canadian deliveries?   :-[

I wonder if they were dropped off in New Jersey, with the US orders, and have to go through all the extra shipping & customs time then coming from the US.

Arctic Blast

The number next to me brings up my order to Canada. So even if it is arriving in the US and then crossing over, the number has been added to the Canada Post system (and I'll be able to follow it through the states on USPS until it transfers over).

Survey says...still not scanned on land in North America.

That blows.  Seems like the US deliveries have all been arriving in the past week or two.

My tracker indicated it was sitting in New Jersey right up until the evening before delivery.  Then it just magically showed up at my city postal office, with no tracking info about it ever leaving NJ.

So the tracker may not get updated until right before it arrives at your door.  Mine didn't.

Which sucks because you'll have to sign for it.

The only reason I knew when it was gonna arrive was because I checked the tracker, habitually, very late every evening.  Only got the local arrival update at about 8:40pm local time and it never had an estimated arrival date (which ended up being the next day).

Not sure how long customs to Canada is taking these days, but that re-shipping is probably the hold-up.

Arctic Blast

Yeah, I've been checking nightly. The CP delivery person here is awesome about leaving cards if nobody's home to get a package. Kind of a pain, but it's only a ten minute drive to the post office, so it isn't a huge deal.

I'll be starting my virgin game any day now.

In the meantime, this guy just started an LP series with the Doompocalypse expansion included:

Not sure if he's finished yet but there are 3 parts up right now.  Good primer.  Maybe make the wait a bit easier for you?

Arctic Blast

Nice! Yeah, I'll give that a watch. Should give me a better idea of how exactly the game works for when it does arrive.

Nefaro

The rules aren't very heavy, but the game is different enough to probably require regular referencing during the first couple plays.

So I've also been watching that LP to help some of that sink in beforehand.  Tends to help speed up that first learning session with a new one, after watching someone else run through it.

Woohoo! It has arrived in Montreal! Should be here next week.

Now to start watching these videos.  :)

Awesome!

The "Ant Lab" videos has really helped my first game move along faster.  Has saved some of the rules referencing during play, which is great.

I think there are some minor mistakes he made, which weren't pointed out yet, but much of it is good to go.

The rules aren't heavy but I did still find myself regularly checking specific question on card or terrain action details for the battles.  I think most of it was regarding the Terrain effects & new Push rules in the expansion.

Started diggin it after my first battle got rolling and the look-ups became less frequent.  Had plenty of decision making and some nail biting near the end, which is a good sign for a solitaire game.  O0
