Heavy cardstock printer recommendations?

My 14 year old HP printer up and died earlier in the week.  It was a big, clunky beast but I liked it because it had a nice, flat tray in the back that could easily feed 100lb cardstock.

I went into Best Buy today (reminder to self, never go anywhere on a Sunday...Bloody madhouse) to look for a replacement but the staff weren't very knowledgeable about printers and it didn't look like anything they had available would print on heavy cardstock.

I did a brief search online looking for recommendations but there wasn't much of a consensus other than looking for old Canon or HP printers with flat feed trays.

Anyone got tips on a good printer?  I need to print me some wargame stuff!

I have an HP Deskjet 1010something-or-other that has a rear feed and only bends the paper about 45-50 degrees. I've printed on 110 card stock with no problem. It was really cheap but the cartridges can be a pain to find. It's easiest to order them online. Even though it's discontinued you can still find it and a related one with wifi and scanning bed at Amazon. I'd get the latter one so you can use it as a copier in a pinch:

SDR,
I would personally recommend picking up a printer from one of the MANY office equipment auctions that occur on a regular basis.  Like this:  http://www.ableauctions.ca/flyer/?EventID=138DAB65-0F66-5E3D-BD0CC328E154B749

A number of years ago (2005?) I picked up an HP 1200 laserjet black and white printer that served me well with cardstock printing until 2009.  Total cost printer and 1 refill was about $200.  In 2010, I picked up a color ink jet.  I probably spend $200 / year on refills.

Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

Thanks. I'm not sure the auction route is right for me as I still don't really know what I'm looking for in terms of printers.  I do like that they now accept online bids though.   I went to one of Able auction's events 6-7 years ago.  It was a mishmash of recovered stuff from the police coffers.  I had wanted to bid on a few things but I ended up bailing after about four hours as the press of the crowd was getting to me and they had just started on the collection of 200+ bicycles and they were selling them one at a time.

I am using a HP Officejet Pro 8000.  It works well with 110 pound cardstock (although I normally use 67 pound).
