Travelling home today from a week of meeting with physicists at Stanford.... so from that and arriving at home at 2 am I'll be pretty fried.  :buck2:

Got some PBEM Wing Leader with SDR to continue when I can think straight again.
Some PBEM Heroes of Normandie with Cyrano... if he ever plays his turn....
Some PBEM DC: Barbarossa with Jason if his PC is blowing again....
Some more work on my car if it's not -20 in the garage...

So, did you find proof that String Theory is true?

We've changed the name to Twine Theory.....  ;)

I thought you were going to finally become a man and watch Blade Runner?

I watched Ex Machina and American Hustle.  Does that count?  And soon I will be playing Armored Warfare!

So you've never seen Blade Runner?  What is going on around here?  It's like all of Geekdom is crashing around us.

I haven't seen Blade Runner but once in the early 1980s.  I just got a book about P. K. Dick, though.  You should see American Hustle.  The J. Lawrence character is painfully similar to my 2nd wife in terms of logic and self-justification and flouncing around.

Let's see , might try to get another CIV4 session with Frey and Millipede.
My now 3rd or 4th HOI3 play through attempt.
Maybe some Grim Dawn and PoE too
Insert witty comment here.

HOI2, Darkest Hour.
Try to get some City: Skylines in also.

We're only supposed to send turns when we can think straight?   Ohhhhhhh......   See, I didn't know that.

I'll be flipping a coin over whether or not to take a new job and also bombing Fritz in Defending the Reich.  There's a Star Wars: Armada tournament on Sunday but I don't know if I want to spend a whole day playing.

I bought a couple of others I'll be looking at this weekend, too. One I've looked at enough already to try an AAR on it. More on this soon.

Otherwise:

1.) Finally getting back to DC3:Barbarossa -- one of the devs visited my thread, for his first post on Grogheads, and told me I need new glasses and vodka!  :smitten: (Possibly correct.) That's Saturday morning.

2.) More 7DtD.

3.) Working on the mystery survival-game project... okay, it's Empyerion. (I may have mis-spelled that.) Or as I shall perhaps call it in my thread title NOT-MARS NEEDS SEVEN DAYS OR LESS TO KILL ME. Pretty dang polished already for a pre-alpha. (The other is Savage Land.)

Not sure what else yet.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

Bioshock Infinite!!!  Why the hell did I wait so long to buy this?  It's utterly sublime, just like its predecessor.  I'm totally gripped and will likely play not much else this weekend.

However, if the opportunity does present itself...

Empire TV Tycoon - I'm calling this the undiscovered gem of 2015.  Lovely, eminently playable little game.
Wurm Online - I desperately need a project to occupy my time, but my alliance remains one of the nicest gaming communities I've ever found.
Invisible, Inc - doubt I'll get time but you never know.

Sir Slash

Damn, is it time for Friday already? Seems like we just had one a week ago. I am still pushing the Bolshevik Hordes eastward in DC Case Blue having dished out 469,000 casualties on the Russkies for some 36,000 in return. And we just kicked the front door to the Caucasus open. I'm sending Hoth down to help out Manstein for the big push south. When those two get together, we should be at the Indian Ocean inside of a month. But that's when this game begins to really worry me--- just when I think I got it whipped. And there's that little town on the Volga I've got to get to also. But it sure is fun.... right now.  :coolsmiley:
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

Martok

As usual, Attila Total War: Age of Charlemagne is set to take up most of whatever time I get in this weekend (I work again - no surprise).  Still need to really get into Pillars of Eternity as well; so far I've been having too much fun just dabbling around with character creation for the most part.

Aside from that, am finally feeling the need for some space 4x action (first time in a while, oddly enough), so perhaps some Armada 2526 or Distant Worlds.

WiTP:AE vs Geek.  I'm currently holding land of his hostage until he returns, well, most of the map back to it's rightful owners.  Then it's on to XCOM: Long War mod.  A ton of fun but, surprisingly, a lot of mouse clicks.

XCOM with Long War Mod
Planetary Annihilation: Titans
Maybe some DCS 2.0 and Battlefield 4 if there is time.

Trying out some user-made CM Black Sea scenarios. Really wish they were making more content for this now instead of WWII stuff.

The above tilt-shifty shot is from Ambush, the Black Sea version of the CMSF scenario.
