So far I've enjoyed playing this. It is good to see a tactical air combat game published, as there are so few in the genre.

I have played a couple of scenarios already, and have mixed views on the game. On the one hand it is interesting with events like critical hits, and a mix of mission types. However, on the flip side the screen is also unnecessarily cluttered, and makes identifying the current aircraft to control more difficult – this is especially the case where there are a lot of aircraft on the map. I may be pre-judging things, but the campaigns appear to be linked scenarios, rather than dynamic campaigns so one loses the immersion of following a flight or a squadron as it progresses through a campaign.

To be fair, I have been spoilt my older air games like Achtung Spitfire!, Over the Reich, and the Sid Meier's tactical air games, which are Check Your 6!'s competitors.

Despite the criticism, I am enjoying playing around with this. I like the game system, so I think it still has plenty of room for further development to flesh out the campaigns, add new ones, as well as add dynamic campaigns as an expansion.
