Bison

Why the hell would Fisher leave Florida for Louisiana?  Seriously.  Why?  Unless he loves him some crayfish or something.

OJsDad

I cannot figure that out either Bison.  He's from WV and went to college at Samford.  From what I can tell, he doesn't have any ties to LSU, except he was OC/QB at LSU for 6 yrs, but I don't think that would be enough to make him leave Florida for LSU.

Brant may have better insight as to why everyone thinks he'll go there.

Word is Fisher's family loved living in Baton Rouge and Fisher was overawed by the fan support, even on bad days. He doesn't have to recruit against anyone else in the state and can raid Mississippi and Arkansas with impunity. Go back to winning double digits and you raid Texas too

Florida isn't a bad place to recruit.  Even with Miami and Florida in state.

YES!  ND lost!

I think ND is the Dallas Cowboys of college football. You just love to hate them.  :tickedoff:

You're fighting 2 other top programs for recruits, plus everyone else trying to raid Florida, like 'Bama, Georgia, and most of the Big 10.

He and his wife are divorcing, I wonder if that will play into this at all?

QuoteWith a victory on Sunday, Ben Roethlisberger moved to 10-2 lifetime in Cleveland. No Browns quarterback has more than 10 wins in Cleveland over the same span. Let that sink in. Ben Roethlisberger, who plays in Pittsburgh and visits Cleveland once per season, has as many wins in the city as any quarterback who's played for the modern iteration of the Browns (they were a 1999 expansion team). Derek Anderson, one of the Browns' 26 starting quarterbacks over that span, also has 10 wins. No one else hit double digits. (Stat via Elias.)

even better?

QuoteOnly two Cleveland quarterbacks have started more games in Cleveland since 1999 as Roethlisberger (Tim Couch and Anderson).
