Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

These guys pretty much say it all. I really couldn't put my finger on everything that bugged me about Rogue One, but these guys do very well at calling some of it out, even if they overkill it a tad there in the beginning.

I loved it.  My pants got tighter when Vader was on screen. 

I mean, I really loved it.

I know it has flaws, but I didn't have the same reaction after The Force Awakens.

I was very happy with the final product here.

I saw it last night and as the above post alluded to - there are flaws in the story - but it was still a superb movie.

For me (again as mentioned before in the thread) still A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back were in front - but not really by far at all.

Is aw a review that said they liked how the film wasn't trying to be Star Wars - but I thought it was. There were literally dozens of hints to the Star Wars world...the little "mail" robot, some of the characters (the one with the horrible nose that says "He doesn't like you - I don't like you"), the probe that lands on Hoth, the dancing girl from Jabba the Huts lair in TROTJ...just lots and lots

BUT - that didn't detract from a superb movie...it really was excellent.      O0  O0    O0  O0

Yeah, a bit, but they're not really all that wrong...at least, IMO.

Oh, I agree. It was indeed fun.

Although I fell asleep at one talky-talky point...only for a couple of minutes, but still. (To be fair I'd been up since 4am, and we went to an 8pm show.)
