I enjoyed Doctor Strange.  Good movie!  :bd:


My only real complaint would be that some moments in the fight scenes looked like the action was way too close to the camera, and I couldn't make out what the hell was happening for a second or two, here & there. 

That initial long astral journey was a pretty badass acid trip candidate.   :coolsmiley:  Happy about the special guest appearance.  O0  I'm glad this origin story is out of the way, because the sequels will have assloads of potential.  :dreamer:

Just got back from watching this with my daughter.  It seemed a bit slow to me.  I understood why, to build the character and give him the opportunity to redeem himself through self realization and awareness, but, it seemed to drag.  Once there was understanding, everything seemed to fall into place just a bit too quickly.  And I agree with Nef on the fight scenes completely.  All in all enjoyable.  Especially with the potential Dr. Strange brings to the ultimate conflict with Thanos.

Finally saw it today in 3-D. Fantastic film, very well done with a lot of great special effects, humor, tragedy, action, etc. In other words, a Marvel movie.  :clap:

Yeah, Dr. Strange is kind of the Tony Stark story in a differently setting. You'd think they wouldn't be able to keep telling the same story over and over but they do it so well that nobody cares. I got to give them credit for that. You actually care about these characters-- their 'Human' connection. And the mind-bending special effects make it seem like something totally new. Batman and Superman are great but don't SEEM human at all, just Superheroes. My 2 cents.

I saw Dr. Strange last Friday.  I wasn't enthralled with the film, but I did enjoy it well enough.  It was funnier than I'd expected.

I saw this film about a month ago.

I thought it was very good - and I wasn't expecting a lot from it. Dr Strange isn't a character I knew and didn't seem to be one I was interested in - but as always, Marvel made me like the character and enjoy yet another movie from them.

They just keep doing it.

There were some very obvious CGI stuff - very obvious - but given what was going on on the screen, I think they can be forgiven.

Overall 4 out of 5 from moi and my daughter.
