I've been getting the itch to fire up another campaign, too.  There have been multiple updates since I last played (I watch to see what gets updated when I eventually log in to Steam) so I'm guessing that they patched the patch that foogered some stuff up a few months ago.   ;D 

I'd also like to play some Muslim leader in the xpac, but not sure if I can purchase that for my Beta Tester freebie version, since it's titled differently on Steam (although the versions are now the same).  Steam has already plastered me with an advert for the Islam DLC, so perhaps it's active for this one too.  Yes, that's why I have the Steam version and not the GG version - had to for beta.  :-\  I'll probably purchase a retail version from GG when they have a sale later in the future.

I know! It will be a battle for my soul between Civ V, CKII and that Real Warfare Teutonic game. I have been trying to break my addiction to medieval themed games but good ones keep coming out. Bastards.

Civ V has been eating my face. I literally stayed up to 4:00 am to play it two nights in a row. Not helpful when I need to course prep and read textbooks the next day!

I absolutely love Crusader Kings 2, almost more than EU3 (almost...). I may pass on this DLC for a future one, if they ever address playing as Orthodox. I find playing within the BE to be the most enjoyable. I'm currently waging an insurgency against the Golden Horde after they destroyed the Kingdom of Rus (and thus most of my Russian inheritance).
