Sir Slash

Speaking of frustration--- I just loaded-up some of my old saves for Third Age Total War mod for MTW and the game now crashes when the screen changes to go to the battle screen. Auto-resolve and all other aspects of the game play fine. And MTW/ Kingdoms plays fine. Haven't played Third Age in a while so something's changed and not getting along. I had 3 great campaigns going. Auto-resolve just doesn't cut it. I'll continue my Shogun 2 with Darthmod and Lydia and I are up to our butts in necromancers in Broken Fang Cave(Skyrim). That'll have to do for this weekend.

Playing "Sword of the Stars 2" now that its all patched up. Actually, its quite good.
Maybe some Scourge of War

no endless war mikeck?

LongBlade

I just had a refresher course on some good tactical games for an upcoming article.

I may have to play some more Combat Mission.

Earlier this week I actually completed my first game of Warlock. It was quite satisfying seeing my fellow mages in chains before me. The island map brought new challenges, but in the end I overcame and crushed all comers. With that checked off the list I'm not sure whether I'll fire it up again - looking forward mostly to the MP add on.

Maybe I'll fire up Panther's latest expansion to Battles from the Bulge. I haven't peeked under the wrapping of that yet and I'm looking forward to it.

JH, sorry to hear about your training. Hopefully you'll come back refreshed and looking for blood.

No endless war....the card based combat kind of killed it for me. With Sword of the Stars, DW out now and Gemini and Pegasus in the chute, no sense playinga space 4x you don't like. Shame because I liked the rest.

Whatre you guys up to?

For me im BETA testing 2 games, and playing GR:FS on PS3

Windows open, fresh air, Crabbies and gaming - aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
You are BETA testing Ghost Recon?? aaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I might have a drive to get a chunk of my Mosquito model complete. On top of that, I guess some Saints Row The Third as it was a tenner on Steam and some iRacing as I'm promoted to Class D. Maybe I can see if I can pick my LAA MLB team up from their current L3 streak!

EDIT - read wrong - you are PLAYING GR on the PS3. Any good?

W8 it did not feel too therapeutic last night. I almost burned my house down.

Ouch, that is not good.  Now we're entering the "this game portion is so ridiculously hard that it's killing the experience for me" phase.  I feel for you man.

Romulan Commander to Kirk

Bison

Diablo 3.

I've been in a strategy game funk for a few days now where nothing appeals to me.

Fetrik

...Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup, Trunk... Lot's of changes from 0.10.2 and my casters can now find books.

Huw the Poo

Well I just picked up Ultima 4+5+6 on GoG (they're on sale - $3 for the lot).  I never did finish U6 back in the day so I'm looking forward to trying again.

Slightly late to the party, I downloaded the demo of Demigod last night and was very impressed, so I'll probably buy the full version this weekend - in which case it'll probably be my main game of the weekend.

Dunno what else, I'll have to look at the list.  Oh, almost certainly some Lunar Flight.  I'm getting to be quite the expert at sailing majestically over the lunar surface!

By the way, some crusty old woman who lives in a palace is having a birthday or something, so we Brits get a four day weekend.  :P

Now you're with me W8. The thing with The Butcher is that every time I lost my equipment took a -10% hit in durability and some of it was destroyed. F that noize, I say.

Next time I can play I am going to buy some kind of sweet magical ranged bazooka, sign up a couple of compatriots and shove The Butcher's giant blade into his demonic ass.

Bison

You are learning the joys of being a glass cannon Gus.

Gusington

It's times like these that I feel that perhaps I should have taken the Monk or the Barbarian.

Bison

Well the Magic User ends up being the most powerful class IMO.  The Monk and Barb are great for Normal and then need serious equipment upgrades because everything spawns pools of death for melee characters.

Gusington

^And the mediocre-magic wielding Demon Hunter?

Lol yeah, playing GR:FS with some MW3/BF3 buddies - good so far, just adjusting from the non stop carnage of those 2 games and running from cover to cover and doing it properly!
