The mechanics and gameplay are right up my street but I don't fancy the main factions much which is a shame

However thanks to nef I've now seen halycon star base 6 and thanks to rps their write up of divided we fall is quite intriguing - it's spendy time

I'm going to Vegas to Ming's conference because I've been having trouble sleeping lately and..... JUST KIDDING.  ;D  Actually I love watching dumb people trying to act like they understand something that they don't but are afraid for anybody to know it and just nod their heads while telling each other, "That's a really good point". Same thing I do when my wife tries to explain to me how we are related to all of her relatives.

I got tired of looking at the bland T-34's in CMRT and downloaded Aris's excellent All-In-One mod that adds different decals and muddy/weathered looks. It sure is easier than modding in CM 1. Just un-zip it in your 'data' file and that's it. Unfortunately, it doesn't make my T-34's any more survivable than before but at least they make great-looking wrecks dotting the Russian countryside.

Not sure how much gaming I will get in. Been fighting mice in the basement and everytime I hear scratching I stop to look around to locate the little bastards. I would like to try to get back into HoI4, Stellaris, Rimworld and any of the various RPGs / fps games that have been sitting in queue (Dishonoed, Deux Ex, Skyrim, PoE, Divinity: OS, etc)

Sunday will be football, with a side of football, chasing that with football and maybe a nightcap of football.

Been getting back into Naval Action lately, had a couple good PVP matches last week, one was a draw, and one was a loss where I had to surrender to save my crew.

May put some time into MOO4 or Civ5.

Not directly related to this thread, except that he used to post here every week, does anyone know what happened to Martok?  Haven't seem him posting in quite a while.  I always enjoyed reading his take on stuff.  Hope everything is okay.

Bob Nelson is hilarious.  You should watch some of his other routines.  The boxer, baseball player, and the Duck are some of his most classic standup routines.

Naval Action for me as well. I've never played an MMO before except Elite dangerous but Naval Action has me. The Naval Battles are intense and ever since I read the Aubrey-Maturin series I started back in 1998, I've been begging for an age of sail game that lets me command ships, board and take prizes, manually sail AND had cannons that ACTUALLY look like they are firing 9lb cannon balls. It's great and only in Alpha
