Don't worry about it. There's even people out there who actually liked Firefly.

"There's a horror movie called Alien? That's really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you!"

The 24 hour A Christmas Story marathon on TBS ruined the movie for me.

We watch all of the animated stuff Rudolph, Frosty, and Charlie Brown yearly.  I also enjoy It's a Wonderful Life

Scrooged is my favorite "Christmas Carol" adaptation by a good margin.

The parents like to watch Christmas Vacation each year if they can, so that's one of my favorites, too.

The original Miracle on 34th Street and its first remake.

Ben-Hur, original or first remake, for a movie that technically includes the actual Christmas story.  O0 I don't know of an actual adaptation of the Christmas story I much like, though I haven't seen them all yet. I suspect I would like the first play from Dorothy Sayers' The Man Born To Be King, as well as the rest of the plays, if I ever saw them produced; I read it every year or so.

Naturally I agree with liking Die Hard a lot, as well as Gremlins, being set at Christmas; although I'm one of those people who like Die Hard 2 more, also set at Christmas (and a much snowier one).

It Came Upon The Midnight Clear, set during a Christmas lull of fighting in the Ardennes during the Bulge. For that matter The Battle of the Bulge classic film itself.

My favorite movie with the story I like best, and best fx, not only set during Christmas but featuring Father Christmas himself as a surprise important cameo, remains the modern film adaptation of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

It's 'A Midnight Clear' - but it is a fantastic war movie. I haven't seen it in a while.
