OK...as usual, I dropped some pretty nice coin on a variety of games, and still have $38 to spend. Looking hard at Automation, or Parkitect.

The new game I am playing the most? Warhammer Quest..an EXCELLENT turn-based dungeon crawler, whose MSRP, with all the DLC, was near $50. Steam price? $2.99. Get this game! For the price, GREAT value.

...also, Thea: The Awakening, for about $16, includes the base game and four DLC is also great value. I haven't played this, but it has excellent reviews, and has stayed on my RADAR for a long time. Did you know that RADAR MUST be capitalized? It's an acronym, for RAdio Detection And Ranging. Heh.

If it helps push people off the fence, onto the Gardenias below, the base game and the 3 Free DLC are only $9.99.  The last "DLC" is an optional $7 to "gift" the developers for all the free DLC, and I think they then "gift" you back with some high quality JPEGs.  So, $10 for the entirety of an albeit odd, but well-received strategy game.

Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Ended up grabbing Age of Decadence and Kingdoms of Amalur since they'd been on my wishlist forever, waiting on a sale. No idea when I'll get around to playing them, but I think I spent less than $20 combined. Otherwise, just not much of interest.

Any reason I should NOT get House of the Dying Sun for 12-fiddy?

You have 1000+ other games you already own that you should play instead?

I got Stellaris and Thea: The Awakening.  Now I get to choose 2 out of 3 of the following:  DC: Barbarossa; HoI 4; and Wasteland.

Knowing that the crowd response will be to buy all 3, which of those gets left out?  I'm leaning towards HoI 4, for now at least, but am not sure...

I've only played DCB of those and i wouldnt leave that one out, its a unique experience.

I have to stay out of this thread, its just not good for the wallet, that and a lack of game buying will power :uglystupid2:. I'm knee deep into Pillars of Eternity,[ man i need a good barbarian] so of course since i'm enjoying it i had to go pick up White March 1 & 2 and then to top that off picked up Thea the Awakening[looks quite different] and then Warhammer Quest, I think im blaming or thanking Dennis just not sure which yet ;)

I bought Thea during a sale. It's an interesting and well crafted game. It's tough, no fooling but the setting with Slavic mythology is intriguing. There's a lot to like. Plus the DLCs for free is nice too.

As for me, since last week was Car repairs..and what I had left to do some shopping for my nephews and my mom (my Mom covered my Dad's gift) I'm holding out until payday this week.

But as to what? Ehh..not too sure right now. Might grab some DLC for Crusader Kings or EU IV, maybe? Not entirely sure.
