Way ahead of you. :)

Hint: Find the "movies" folder and rename the bik files to something else. Gets you into the action a LOT faster.

OMG, says it works on Windows 7/8/10. This is my next buy, and it won't be long.

What kind of multi-player setup did it have?  I don't recall.  Just direct IP?

For future reference..  I'm hardly even playing PC games right now.

I think it will work with fine virtual LAN (e.g. Hamchi) - so yeah, direct IP, but without port forwarding and other shenanigans.
At least it used to work that way on the "demo" version that I could find.

But I'll test it some time soon, now that it's finally available in normal distribution.

How is the AI in this game?

When I bought SWAT 3 on GOG during a previous sale, I became so frustrated with the teammate AI that I quit.

Close quarters means lots of corners. Add buildings with multiple floors, near-perfect hitscan enemies and hitboxes that don't favour having to go around corners often and you can quickly end up in a situation where one of your guys ends up getting shot because he moved a few pixels too far. Your teammates also like to mirror corners in the open if you ask them to in SWAT 3.

I remember really enjoying the demo, and I liked the first few missions, but after a few missions you end up at a mansion or church or the like where enemies are hiding everywhere and it's very difficult to keep your teammates alive and place yourself in a situation where you can make arrests instead of shooting everyone.

SWAT 2 was, for me, the superior game compared to SWAT 3, even with the terrorist campaign where you could simply wait and shoot SWAT as they arrived to win missions.

Thanks for the heads-up Jarhead. Bought. Love it. Brings back memories of the Rogue Spear games...good times.
