Wow, they sure do still think highly of GG's Eagle Day / Bombing the Reich! -- it's still US$35 after the coupon! I don't know that it even works on Win 8.1... (the specs say yes, all the way up to Win 10, but...)

Might be an interesting multiplayer game with someone, too.  ^-^

(I would want to check and see if I've already got it, tho.)

Matrix doesn't 'sell' Steam versions on its store. But if a game has a Steam version, then after you buy it on Matrix you can register it and (through the Slitherine side of the store) request a Steam code which will allow you to register on Steam, too.

I have the Steam 'base' version of OOB, and 'Winter War' is showing as DLC, and that must have confused me.

Bob - I have an AAR of the first 5 or 6 scenarios of Winter War on the website.  I enjoyed it a lot.

Blitzkrieg is also very good.

Inspite of a somewhat clunky UI, it scratches the ASL itch for me. Community has added 100+ scenarios? Some nice graphic mod variations also.

One of my favorite games.  Typical grognard Grigsby fare...tons of detail (heck, it tracks the career of each pilot on the entire front)...full campaign games that few real people will ever have time to finish.  I am still running Win7 where it runs comfortably. 

The game supports PBEM.  I'd happily play a short PBEM game of Eagle Day if you are interested.
