I'm always excited to post a new Bracket.  I love going through the albums and agonizing over which cut to pick and remembering songs I had long forgotten.  As I put this group together and seeded them, I thought, "They're going to LOVE this!"  And I hope you do.  Thanks, as always, for voting and keeping me going.  Have at!!!

I was in about 6th grade in 1972.  These songs bring back some memories.  I remember listening to the Walk on the Wild Side, kinda sorta thinking I understood what Reed was singing about, but not really sure.

See previous post.  I would post all the songs I didn't use except for two reasons:

1) I will be using some of them for the Wild Card Brackets after the 40 yearly Brackets are finished

and

2) It would be a neverending, "How come you didn't use THIS song?!?!?!?!?!"  So..., no.  Not gonna do it.  Wouldn't be prudent.

You could do an entire second 16-song bracket out of what was left out of 1972

I had 6 out of 8 of those songs in consideration.  And with the exception of the early 60's, I could make a second bracket for almost any year.
