Steam Summer Sale Swag Thread

[Gusington]

Nice.

[kludger]

Most titles in the Steam Sale don't seem to be as heavily discounted as years back so I've been able to stay stingy, only bought 2 so far:
Space Hulk : Deathwing - I've been immersed in the Horus Heresy series the last couple of months thanks to the Humble Book Bundle a few months back, hoping Deathwing will do WH40 justice despite some iffy reviews
Stardew Valley - hoping this is sort of like Farm Sim which I like to play to relax, good reviews and good discount

Added a couple of more:
Pathfinder Adventures Obsidian Edition - Thanks for mentioning this here, I gave it a try on tablet first for free and really liked it, so went all in
TIS-100 - interesting puzzle game and I've always wanted to learn assembly language, looks like fun
My Summer Car - interesting scandinavian car building, tuning, and drunken adventures game, been on my wishlist for a long while

I think that will be it for this sale, I ended up buying more than I planned (as usual)

Brought 'Divinity Original Sin - Enhanced edition' copy for me and one for Mrs.B. Hope we can get some co-op play in eventually.

Frying pans: the original PvP game!

LOGistICAL had an interface that looked like Windows '95 and was about as handy to use as DOS. Awful. Couldn't refund it fast enough.

Latest haul of stuff :

Save Jesus - Believe it or not, it's a puzzle game. And...it's kinda fun.
Stories : The Path of Destinies - Really like this one. Reminds me a fair bit of Bastion, particularly from the 'storytelling narrator' aspect. Nice graphic style as well. Simple to play, fun progression so far.

Also grabbed The Viceroy and Dominions 4, though I haven't tried either of them yet.

Tried the demo for Age of Decadence. I like the idea of the game, but the combat was so dangerous that it actually felt a bit absurd. Too bad, because the game world and story aspects sound fantastic. I might pick up Divinity - Original Sin to fill that RPG void.

If you liked Dominions 4, try Elysium 3. Pretty good game by Illwinter.

By all accounts Dishonored 2 is now fixed and quite awesome.

Totally unrelated but by any chance Gus did you happen to see U2 in concert last week in NY?  I saw them at Gillette stadium (Massachusetts) a week ago today.

Picked up two DLC for Endless Legend.  I forgot how good that game is and some friends of mine recently reminded me to play it again.

Wrong thread, sorry. :-[

Hey W8 - yes I saw them last Wednesday night. My favorite band playing my favorite album. Good stuff. Still recovering :/

I hear ya.  Good stuff indeed.

How was the show at Gillette?

Thanks to Stags (big time) I have a copy of FSX: Steam Edition!

Now I'm eyeing to buy the Stuka, A-6E, and B-29 add-ons...as Tuna said in another thread, this looks like a huge slippery slope!
