In boxing, they say styles make the fight.  Our finalists definitely represent different styles.  The Stones, with their swagger and dangerous posturing face off against the polished plaints of poor, pitiful, paramours everywhere, voiced by the Righteous Brothers.  What will it be?  And what does that say about what kind of person you REALLY are?

If the Righteous Brothers hadn't appeared in that scene in Top Gun would we still care about the song 30 years later, and 50 years after it was first released?

You just had to add the bit about Top Gun's release being closer in time to the song's release than to the present day, didn't you?

Next, are you going to claim that the movie 'The Doors' was released neared the actual band's debut album date than to today?

Oh, wait...

Led Zeppelin's debut album was closer to the Nazi invasion of Poland than it is to today.  Hell, the difference between those two date ranges is old enough to vote...

Johnnie B Goode is closer to the start of WWI than it is to today.

You're welcome :)
