our third snow 'event' of the year is coming Wednesday morning

we usually only get lingering snow every other year here, so this is definitely unusual for us

Looks like just rain up here.  I tell you, winter is not so bad if you simply don't leave the house, and don't run out of heating oil and scotch.    :))

High of 33 today. Snow flurries outside, some dusting on stuff outside. 33 right now so it's not sticking well. Of course, in four days the high will be 72. What's a 40-degree difference over a few days?

Conflicting reports of how much snow we'll get here, somewhere between half an inch and four inches.  Sent me home early today.  May be out tomorrow, too, as the temp overnight/morning is supposed to be down to -10 with the wind chill.
