Hard to believe it was just a couple of months ago we were expectantly waiting on the 'first snow' of the season. Like kids on Christmas. Where did those guys go?   :-"

Took me 20 minutes to chip the ice/snow combo off my car.

It rained like crazy last night and melted most of the snow and ice we still had on the ground.  The sun even came out today.

I got in a quick surf at lunch.  I gotta be honest, I never did get warm.  I was cold to begin with, but the surf looked pretty fun so I figured I'd suck it up and get out there.  The problem is that I surfed on Monday and my wetsuit and gloves were still damp.  So in the process of putting on the suit my hands got wet and then very cold from the wind, and then my gloves were icy cold from sitting in the car wet all day.  Thus, my fingers were hurting before I stuck them in those ice gloves and they just never got completely warm.  My feet hurt the whole time.

After an hour the tide came up and kind of killed it, which was fine with me because I just wasn't having fun.  It just hurt, no way around it.  The tips of my fingers are still sensitive and hurt.

Looks like just rain here this weekend.  A lot of rain, but at least it's liquid water.
