our planet gets its weight from the pull of the sun, without the sun , maybe we wont have weight? or if we stopped spinning the earths gravity would stop, so maybe motion is a factor aswell

There are planets in the universe that aren't orbiting stars but are drifting on their own (http://www.skyandtelescope.com/astronomy-news/rogue-planets-not-plentiful/).  These planets still have mass (and this can be measured by the gravitational lensing effect http://www.einstein-online.info/spotlights/grav_lensing_history)

I'm not trolling, and the reason I don't seem to lisen, is simply because I know all this about gravity, you don't yet, but Ive said enough now, its upto you guys if you want to be a follower or think for yourselves
