Em, if you want a killer version of Try A Little Tenderness, watch The Commitments.  The performers in that movie did all their own singing and instrument playing.  And the singer is the best part.  Tenderness is one of the showstoppers.

That's a great suggestion MD, thanks  O0 I agree that's a great rendition! And I must admit, I didn't automatically think of it. I'll head over to youtube and see if I can find a clip, I've got the album, but sometimes it's nice to watch the performance as well as hear it :)  I'm steadily acquiring a list of movies to watch, from recommends off friends! I wanna watch caddy shack later and Christmas vacation with chevy chase.... I still. Haven't managed to watch the movie Commitments, because I keep getting sidetracked by other stuff... But it's on my movie to watch list, lol, thanks MD :)

I've seen the movie a couple of times before, but it's a while ago now. I've been wanting to watch it again, just because it's an enjoyable movie. I like the gritty realism of it, and some kick ass music to boot... Nice  O0 do you like the movie MD, or just the music?

Oh that's cool! Hope you had a fun time  O0 I think Netflix in the states must have more choice, because it's not on Netflix here  :(  just about to check out movie rentals on TV.... So, here's hoping  :)
