This is a great and important milestone for the team...Congrats on reaching it! I hope the demo is well received.

I'm also in the "downloaded, but haven't had a real chance to play" camp. Hope to change that ASAP.

i was sad to see that the demo is only going to be available through the kickstarter campaign. Hopefully, the demo will be updated and expanded and released at various other phases during what remains of development.

I hope they blow past to animated crew. Not as interested in flying in this game myself though. So that goal does not interest me.

Just played around for an hour in the game
Gorgeous visuals - I really feel like I am there (apart from freezing like a hairless chihuahua in Boston right now).
Still figuring out controls as I am struggling to get perspective of the aircraft attacking and the task force firing on them.  I keep ducking underwater when trying to orient myself to the different attack vectors.  Lost the Lady Lex to a torp and bomb hit.
I can see myself spending lots of time with this one.  Trying to decide what level of Kickstarter to engage in since this is something I have never done before.

Yeah, I am enjoying it but also struggle with the camera controls.  Is there a way to jump from aircraft to aircraft in a flight?

I gave this a quick run yesterday and enjoyed it - but I didn't have long so I'll be diving in at the weekend for a further play.

I would say options to change controls is essential - but I guess that's coming. I tried the aircraft mission, fighting a Japanese attacking force. I struggled without being able to reverse the mouse inputs. I ended up in the water every single time.

Most games have "mouse move forward" = DOWN...and the first thing I do in a game is to change that to UP. I simply can't play with how they default it - and that's why I wonder if I'm "odd"...all games have the movement of the mouse the other way which I guess means most people prefer it that way.

Anyway - watching the Lexington on fire and the flak all around the fleet. I had to end it before I saw what happened to Lady Lex.

But I am going straight to the Kickstarter page to see what's afoot there.

Gave the demo a go this afternoon while cooking dinner. Seems like a lot of fun.
I cannot see a way in the scenario to see the last heading of the sighting on the large map though (red circle).

EDIT: Tiny crewmen stretch goal passed!

Haven't played the demo, but from watching the video it looks a lot like the recent game Sea Power, except of course for the setting in WW2 rather than modern day. Am I wrong?  BTW...this is a compliment, not a criticism.

Cover me...I think I'm going in for the Captain's Edition. Seems to be the best balance between physical and digital goodies with private beta access and cost that can be managed from a matrimonial perspective.

I watched Wolfpack 345's demo video last night, he had some camera control problems too. But the game looks delicious. There seems to be a whole lot going on at one time when the fighting begins and maybe a little overwhelming at times. A way to slow-down the action, or replay it, might be big help if it doesn't already exist. The strikes coming in were quite intense and I could see myself throwing shit at the screen when my bombs miss the enemy.  :hair:

It is so nice to know that I'm not the only addict here....I had absolutely no intention of doing the kickstarter.  Then I started to down the list.  I ended up with the Captain's Edition before  I developed enough fiscal fortitude to go no further....

Almost at animated crewman stretch goal. After that is passed I think I might get the game after it is finished. But I hesitate as I cannot play the japanese.
What is the release eta and stretch goal delivery date?
