This looks like a miss to me. I enjoyed Stronghold Crusader a lot, but since then the games seem to have been in a steady downward spiral. The Steam page is absolutely flooded with reviews complaining about how simplistic the game is and how it loses its appeal after a few hours. Also, if the discussion in comments for reviews are to be believed, the devs are banning a number of people who left negative reviews.

Seems like the game was tailored with multiplayer in mind and therefore gravitates more towards traditional RTS than castle building simulator, which is a pretty big shame. Maybe for $15 or $20 it could be fun for a few hours.

^Yeah I saw the same thing in the Steam reviews about the bannings.

Yeah. The game is ok but the price is too high for what it is right now. I hope they keep working on it. 20 to 30$ would be ok but not more. I have to say that I don't regret my purchase even though i would have like it to be a little cheaper.

Anguille you are one of the more forgiving people here so for you to even hint at being a little dissatisfied definitely gets my attention, more so than 1000 mixed Steam reviews.

Removing this from my wishlist for now :/

I will have a clearer opinion once i have completed two more campaigns. But there's a vibe that i haven't felt for a very long time...when i used to be excited about these new rts 20 years ago...and i am genuiely looking forward to continue my campaign. Maybe they should have stuck with just one nation.

For now, I have Total War Three Kingdoms to dive into. That should keep me going at least until Warlords is sorted out.

^It's been on sale on and off lately. Best I see right now is 47.99 which is a little high for me personally.
