Play test is available on Steam.

Its still rough, but I think it has good potential. Between this and Tank Squad, there will be some good combined arms WWII gaming!

The fact Daedalus is publishing this, looks very hopeful. They don't only shovelware things out.

Did you end up playing it Steve? I have not played tank sims lately. Gunner heat PC kinda has me interested when I saw it had infantry yesterday, but tank squad just scratches the itch whenever I need it scratched.
Sherman Commander and men of war tank thingy seemed too canned for me. Tank crew had some potential I think but I think tank squad has features light years beyond what the others have.

Yeah, tank squad is the game for east front tank warfare.  I finally ditched my old install of the tank game the graviteam guys made then abandon, because tank squad fills that void now.

I would highly recommend gunner heat pc for modern, it's come along so well that I'm on the verge of ditching my steel beasts install.  Once GHPC gets coop mp and an editor, I'll probably be rid of steel beasts.

I just played the new sherman commander demo and must say Iit seems much better. It's definitely a game not a tank simulator per sae. I felt like I was playing an FPS close combat game.
