For those who pre-ordered...and this is going to sound ridiculous...how did you view the AGEOD site in English? I can only view it in French...

top left corner, bunch of flag icons. right above the word ageod and next to where it says welcome, log in

OK since I was an idiot before and couldn't find the language selector, my order was placed in French. Anyone know if I should cancel that order or will the language in the game be selectable by me?

I think you are ok.  However you could either ask on the forums or email on of the Phil's on the aged site.

I'm. Pretty sure you get asked what language during setup. I don't remember.

Most games let the user choose these days, I think you are right.

I'm pretty sure their installers have all been multi-lingual ones in a single package.  I'd be more concerned about them attempting to charge you through a French bank or something, and your bank getting paranoid about an overseas charge, and some extra change spent on exchange rate. 

However, if you let them know on the AGEOD boards someone would probably lend info & help.

I've done foreign transactions before without any hassle, so no problem there. If the installer is multilingual the only issue left is understanding the emails.

I tried to cancel the order last night but was doing a few other things at the same time and didn't get that far. I'm thinking that is the simplest thing go do.

My original order page was partially in French as well. I didn't click the leetle flag until after the confirmation page. I just checked the installer again for you, Gus. The installer defaulted to English but even if it defaulted to French you can choose English instead. There are only two options.

Cool, thank you 'Wing. I just wrote to them explaining what I did. With your info above that leaves just the emails. I asked if they could resend to me in English.

nice dilemma to have. i just realized that torchlight 2 will be released the same time as this game. going to be very busy in a few weeks!!!

Also keep in mind that Hegemony Rome will probably be out for Pre-Order (and beta access) around that time, too.
