What's the opinions out there regarding IL-2 Stalingrad DLC Flying Circus Volume 1 for $19.99 (75% off).

People will argue that WoFF is a better game for WW1 flying, but for me FC is the better experience in terms of flight models and visuals.  I think I've said on here before that, if you're at all interested in WW1 flying, then FC is a no-brainer at that price.

I love both FC and WoFF. WoFF somehow manages to be a better RPG for career mode, but agree that FC is better flying and visuals. Also, FC is no slouch when it comes to career mode either.

Oh...and FC supports VR if that is a thing for you.

Anyway, FC I is a steal at that price.

Also worth noting, Vol 2 and 3 are together on sale for less total than Vol 4's sale price.

Just picked up Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader after seeing the recent overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. People loving the new dlc and recent changes to game. Any one else have it and their thoughts?

I have it and played 20 hours before a new shiny thing came along.
Like most Owlcat games this one got better with patches and DLC. 
If you like RPG's this is a real good choice.

I'm picking up the season pass on Greenmangaming (-52% as a Gold Member) and will return to the game soon.

Okay, finished my autumn sale shopping spree (luckily most of my picks from my wish list were on 80% sale or higher).

Psychonauts 1 & 2. I used to own the original disc for #1 and loved it to death. I decided to replay it before moving onto #2 (which I'm super excited to play) since I didn't own a controller for my PC back when #1 came out (I think most folks, like me, finished #1 with a keyboard). I was worried about compatibility issues, but #1 runs just fine.

The Painscreek Killings. I love me a good adventure game. This one deviates from the standard 2D point and click formula in favour of a first-person view. You play a journalist visiting an abandoned town. Your boss has demanded you solve a string of murders before returning. Despite being the only person in the town, the mood really grows on you. It's also one of the few murder mystery games that encourages (in fact, requires) the player to take notes separately, and I love it. I feel like a real investigator, and there are some great 'AHA!' moments when you discover something that ends up answering a question you had in your notes.

Valfaris (enjoyed the companies first 2D platformer, and since this one was dirt cheap....)

MotoGP 2020 and Nascar Heat 5 (I've wanted a dedicated Nascar racer for a while, and MotoGP just to see how a bike simulator works).


Voyager-19: A tiny, indie horror game about listening to radio signals from planets.

Also, I picked up two or three oldies from GoG. I realised I didn't have ye-olde Jagged Alliance 1 and expansion, so picked those up for about a dollar.

Long story short : thanks to DasTactic & PartyElite now I have Age of Wonders 4 Premium Edition ...

But this one I will play     .

But this one I will play     .

I picked that one up about a month ago (it was on sale for some other reason--maybe the launch of their latest DLC) and have been loving it.  No one of the mechanics are dramatic improvements over what other games have offered.  But, taken together, they seem to allow a level of faction customization and game customization that blows away what other games have to offer.  This really lends to the immersion and role-playing aspects of fantasy 4x games for me.

I have no idea whether or not it's properly play-balanced, or how it works for PvP.  Most of the TBS Fantasy games with a Campaign mode end up getting very grindly very quickly for me.  I appreciate the fact that it was more designed for sandbox mode than for Campaign mode.  I'm strictly a PvE guy.

Now, do I want to play my next game as The Riders of Rohan, or as Dwarven Socialists intent on industrialization for the greater good?
