No Superman love in here?

Right. I just got back from this.

My wife and daughter went to see Jurassic World Rebirth last night. When they got back, they said it was crap. When I asked them what they thought of Superman, they said they wished they'd gone to see Jurassic World Rebirth again  ???

I liked it mostly. Some of it was miss though. Way too little of the music. Not enough in the intro (I think there was - but not enough) and didn't end out with the music either. That's a really, really bad call imo. It had more of a 70's Superman look/feel/vibe going on - and I was on board with that. I didn't think I would be - but I was.

6-7/10. Needed more of the music. Some funny bits were funny. I loll'ed a few times. Some were pretty miss. Green Lantern was excellent as was Lex Luther.

I would be hoping for more from a follow on...but I will go and watch this again before it leaves the cinema.

I LOVE the original Superman series (well up until around III) and only haven't seen this one yet because it's "yet another superhero movie".  I think we have like 35 retellings of the Batman story and what is this, the fourth or fifth retelling of Superman?

I am still going to go see it, I just haven't been in a huge rush.
