Today, SNEG, Ltd., curator and publisher of treasured classic PC games, is announcing the upcoming re-releases of three classic titles in the acclaimed "Combat Mission" series of WWII tactics wargames: Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord, Combat Mission II: Barbarossa to Berlin, and Combat Mission 3: Afrika Korps. The Combat Mission titles feature "We-Go" turn-based gameplay, where each turn is split into two parts: players first plan their moves at the same time, then watch as all actions unfold together on the battlefield, keeping the action intense while giving armchair commanders time to plan their next move between rounds. All three games feature a variety of bugfixes and feature updates, including support for non-4:3 resolutions!

And as a bonus, the games include various community-created mods and scenarios (see each game's features for which content they feature).

They come to Steam on September 10th

Great to have them available on Steam, but re-release is a bit of a stretch considering they've been available on GoG for many years.

I believe SNEG has done this in the past with press releases, too, maybe with the original Close Combat series and/or the Gold Box D&D series.  Announcing a Steam release is great, but not so much calling it a re-release if it has been readily available on other digital storefronts for a decade or more.

I have all three boxed CDV releases, all three on GoG, and will likely buy all three on Steam, because I'm a sucker like that...

It's already re-released, it can't re-release any further...

I'd be interested to know if the "bug fixes and feature updates" will be included in the existing GoG versions.

Higher resolution would be a big deal. Unfortunately Charles put in a hardcoded limit for some reason.

I hope they are aware of and fix the CMBB fortification bug. But I don't have much hope for that.
