ArmA 2 Realism Videos

Greetings Wargamers,

I am an avid ArmA player and I have many, many videos that I think those here would enjoy. I am a member of a USMC Realism unit in the game ArmA 2 and we do trainings and operations several times a month.

I am a Platoon Commander of an Infantry Rifle Platoon. I've been in the unit for right at 3 years and worked my way up from a buck Private M249 gunner, to a Fire Team Leader, to a Squad Leader, then Platoon Sergeant - where I was going to stay forever - but like the platoon sergeant from Band of Brothers, I decided to take a Platoon Commander position.

I'll start with two of my recent videos. Operation 07-12(7th operation of 2012) and 09-12 Phase 3. These are two of the more exciting videos I've produced in the past few months.

Operation 07-12 - My last operation as 1st Platoon's Platoon Sergeant:

Operation 09-12 Phase 3 - I am actually filling in the role of Fire Team Leader for this operation. Our unit is so big that we have to split the weekends we have our operations on. This is 1st Platoon's op, and I am the leader of 2nd Platoon:

Right now, you can't embed YouTube videos.  We're working on getting one of the mods installed that allows embedding, but a few of them have some technical challenges with implementation.

Meanwhile, feel free to jump in with both feet and join the conversations here  :)

The entire friendly force is live players(50-70 guys). So every Marine you see is another human. The entire opfor is AI/NPCs, but I'm working on a proposal for my unit so that the NPCs are lead by a human controller. You can see it here:

I have a new video out today:

I've decided to do a series of uncut missions from a user made campaign for ArmA. The Campaign is called "Chasing Grim Reaper" and can be found on the ArmA forums here(either as an SP campaign or multiplayer campaign):

It is a 9 man, 7 mission long campaign on Takistan as a US Army squad. I am playing it with other 15th MEU members, but it is also playable as single player with AI control.

Based on the feedback I get from full uncut gameplay like this, in a sort of "Let's Play" fashion, but without commentary, I may do more things like this in the future.

Mission 1 is 30 min long, but mission 2, which I will probably upload tomorrow, is about 1hr 45min long.

Oh and one last thing, I'm going to leave in all of the terrible voice acted cut-scenes in so that you all have to suffer through them just as we did.

It's not the biggest of time commitments. Hell we even have a reserve component so you can just "come to whatever you can make it to".
