Party kids have been giving each other booze enemas since the 80's, if not earlier. They would get so messed up they went into respiratory arrest on occasion. One of the Docs back in the ER I worked out of advocated putting them on dialysis to try and flush their systems quickly. I can't recall if we ever did of if so, how effective it was. I do know that Dialysis has been used on drug overdoses on occasion when the agent was hepatotoxic, such as Tylenol which kids would ingest along with the alcohol in some multi symptom cough elixirs.
