I'm not sure what you're waiting to hear revealed.

Nothing about Curtis at all.
I am just now seeing some hints about 'the next incarnation of Az'. There had been several outlashes over at WG over the years about some pathetic person(s) relogging under a new nickname.
I was wondering wether 'Az' was 'Azzurri' and then what these other names have been.
Not to attack anyone or beat a dead horse, just my own curiosity. :D Cause I never figured it out at that time.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood you.

Azz has several IDs over at WG. Masterandcommander is one. Bungrider is another.

He's not difficult to spot.

Curtis' note is quite revealing as to how the very thing - personalities - that makes the interwebnets such an interesting place to visit can also be its greatest weakness.

My exodus from the wg'er started in the BG (Before Grogheads) era and was specifically a reaction to some of the more challenging posters (Azz, believe it or not, not being one of them).  The wg'er remains a source of some very good articles and reviews, and some of the ancillary resources (opponent finder, buy / sell, etc) are great features and important "value adds" to the wargaming community.

Unfortunately, the clash of forum personalities began to rival those of the Triumvirate or the Year of the 5 Emperors, and it was perhaps inevitable that Rome should fall.  I am much relieved to see that no-one from this community played a hand or perpetuated any malfeasance (perhaps not the right word) against the wg'er or its staff.

Taking the high-ground, be it moral or tactical, always behooves a wargamer.

Yours in gaming,

Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

Doesnt he go by Pinning now as well?

Con

No. Azz != Pining.

Pining is from down under. He's not especially fond of guns and sometimes shows up to joust about how Americans shouldn't have them.

Azz, AFAIK, never has had an issue with the 2nd Amendment.

Hmz. *stroking non existant beard* Interesting revelations.
Weird hobbies some people have.
But hey; Jerry Springer convinced me that there is always something even more awkward out there.  :-X

Dude, Azzurri could fill a week on Springer, with a different persona (and matching accessories) for each show.

No.
That would be a misconception based on the belief that if he disagrees with a particular belief, he must be the same person, as there could only be one.

A little bit incorrect, Longblade.
I have no issue at all with guns. They are a beautiful tool. In the hands of a fully trained expert they are an art form.
I have a huge issue about the hands into which they are given to.

Your whit and charm have followed you over from Wargamer. You sure you're not Azz?
