Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Shades of 2000. Wonder how many times the networks will call it and switch.

wodin is and always has been a tool.

The problem is, people at BGG don't know him from any other tool in the shed, so they don't know that he's failed at every forum he's ever tried to jump into

Not to worry. Rimmer usually reveals his inner tool rather quickly.

I believe the quote is from Cervantes.

"Patience. And deal the cards."
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Are Wodin and Azzurri one and the same person?
I think not, because Wodin was usually the instigator of arguments and then  'I am the victim' sesitive kind of guy in my experience. But I am still curious.

However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore."

No.

Yeah their styles are totally different.  One lives well in Houston, has an offbeat sense of humor, and has a penchant for latinas; the other is none of those things.

^Sounds wrong in the conventional "thanks but I like gals sense" but technically it is very right. And to think I pitied Wodin once.

This keeps getting weirder.  Below was in my private email account this morning.

Hi Tim Stone (of Rock, Paper, Shotgun),

I would love to do an interview about my experiences as Editor-in-Chief of The Wargamer or help in a creation of such an article. I would like to be interviewed by any publication who wishes to hear my story. The wargaming/gaming community deserves that information, and I will only speak the truth.

However, I will not participate in any production of an article or interview that does not mention the main responsibility for my immediate dismissal. This would be specific management and renowned members of the "G" site that I had mentioned in my farewell address, which Jim Zabek happens to be the owner and/or administrator of. However, in the light of recent events, his experiences at The Wargamer were not similar to mine in several ways; nor will I allow them to be displayed as such. His website was greatly responsible for my removal.

If an article does surface by ANY publication that does not disclose the main reason for my dismissal (which includes the participation of members of that competitor wargaming online publication mentioned above), or if Jim Zabek wishes to paint a picture that my dismissal was solely based on anything rather than a select few from his website, I will renounce any such claim (or unintentional portrayal) both publicly and privately.

I will not allow the wargaming/gaming community to be misled during this matter, they must hear the truth. This little niche community deserves that right.

If you'd like to hear more, if you agree with the above and wish to proceed I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. If an interview is what you'd like just send some questions along and I will answer them to the best of my ability. I will also keep all further discussion between us confidential. I will also keep any interviews conducted with other parties confidential as well, until published. Thank you.

I would also like to thank the numerous who have supported me in this matter, as well as the many who have offered me employment.

For whatever reason, my wargamer account has been deactivated.  This was done before the post above.

It may just be their buggy software - or not.  I lost an account at wargamer when Jim was running it due to software problems - so it may be a coincidence.

I think Curtis needs to separate the actions of individuals who hang here with GrogHeads - and me - as a formal entity.

There's no way I can control how people react to Curtis. Some folks loved him, others didn't. If Slitherine went snooping around and found some folks that didn't like him who happen to hang here, that's not exactly my fault. Nor is it my fault that some folks came here because they didn't like Curtis' style. Guess what? We've lost guys here to Wargamer who didn't like my style. That's kind of how it works when you're a mod. I don't know why he might be surprised by that.

Well you might as well blame me - I seem to be getting blamed for everything else over there ;)
