What's the word on this one?  I've been reading that there are quite a few bugs causing issues with the game.

Something is a little wonky.

I just played 26 minutes. Great fun, nice plot and action.

But when I started to snap a few screenshots to show for some reason it decided that *every* key I pressed would take a screenshot. So I kept getting the little Steam Screenshot Tweet when I moved forward. And not just once when I pressed the W key, but every half second.

On the upside, I now have 536 ass-kicking screenshots.

I'm hoping that exiting the game and restarting it will shake that bug. Otherwise, this is going to be a major damper on the fun.

That's an annoyingly interesting bug.  The stuff I've been reading about is system reboots and other horrible things.  So it sounds like you got the better of the bugs.  Guess I'll hold off on a new FPS.  Besides Far Cry 3 looks like it could be a pretty awesome squad based game to suppliment our L4D2 game nights.  Easier to get 4 guys together then a dozen or so.

I have experienced no bugs so far.  Despite the fact that the campaign is WAY over the top, I find myself enjoying it so far...more so than the first Black Ops.  underneath all the eye rolling, there is a lot of fun.  I prefer the near future missions to the cold war crap.  They give you a lot of neat gadgets to play with in the future and when it has a sci-fi feel, I find myself much less annoyed by the utter lack of realism and authenticity.

I think MP is going to be a BLAST!

Can someone let me know how the MP stacks up to BF3 once you get some time in on it.

I skipped BF3 on the advice of...pretty much everyone I knew.

I don't intend to pay £40 for an FPS - and I've never been a massive fan of the Call of Duty franchise anyway - not since Call of Duty:Modern Warfare which had some of the best missions known to man and one of the best stories EVER for an FPS game. After that, it was downhill I'm afraid - imo.

I'm interested in some L4D2 co-op though if there's any info on that (though UK might be a bugger getting a game in with you lot)
