A good weekend

Started Thursday at Thanksgiving lunch at my wifes Aunt and Uncles.  After lunch, we did a little shooting.  Got to shoot my .22, my great-great-Aunts 410 shotgun (over 100 years old) that she used to hunt with.  We finished shooting my grandfathers German Luger pistol.  Both my kids shoot the .22, but didn't want anything to do with the 410 or Lugar.  But both did very well.  The first shot my 12 yr old daughter took knocked the can about 2ft into the air.  As well as she was shooting, I don't think I have to worry about a boy getting frisky with her if she doesn't want him to.  And as well as her brother shoots, he can take care of the ones that she'll let  ;D

Friday, I went to town after 2pm, not intending to buy anything, and coming home with over $600 with of gifts.  The prize was the last Wii U at Best Buy.  It wasn't the deluxe version, but thats ok.  Also got StarCraft II for $20, which my wife will give me for Christmas, so I won't get to play it yet. 

Then, Saturday, I got a new 55" LEC TV in the morning.  The day was topped off with an Ohio State victory over that team from up North :)

What I would call a religious experience. Even the part
about gratuitously shooting young men.  I never got to
go out hunting this year, too many other things to do.
