I just got a bunch of World of Warships screenies from the folks who did World of Tanks.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Looking forward to it.

But I keep imagining people ramming each other with their ships and firing point-blank.  :-\

Those maps probably aren't going to have too many over-the-horizon battles. But World of Tanks is awesome if not terribly realistic.

I'm looking forward to seeing how those aircraft carriers work.

The landscape looks like it was inspired by Alaska. I suspect it will be fun poking around those islands and hunting down the other side.

Cant see it being "realistic"  if you'd want a battleship over an aircraft carrier.

You may talk the talk and appear to be quite easy going to foster popularity, but to the MAN I say F*CK YOU." And Steve G is F******g rude ? Just another day on the BF forum ... one demented idiots reaction to BF disagreeing about the thickness of the armour on a Tiger II turret mantlet.

Realism be damned - it does look like a battleship junkies wet dream!  ;D

I agree. Games should be fun and not necessarily realistic.

I am looking forward to World of Warships. Battleships, aircraft carriers, battlecruisers, cruisers,  and destroyers all play a role. I wonder if they will have submarines in the game as well.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Fun? FUN?? Clearly sir, you are not a wargamer. Fun has nothing to do with it!
