Wow...it looks great...truly like a modern wargame. I like the new angle that some games are taking by keeping hexes and chits and also adding sexy new graphics options for n00bs. And I love the Eastern Front. Thanks for posting...looking forward to see how it plays. I also like the June 21st release date :)

Huge news. Thanks, Bis!

This will be a great game.

Wow... those screenshots look really interesting!

But I won't lie, I'm disappointed that WCS shifted from Napoleonic and ACW to the overstuffed WWII era.

Overstuffed?

First, the only thing around here that's overstuffed is me.

Second, who doesn't need another great WWII game?

Me, for one.  ;)

I just love Napoleonic. Imagine a Cossack's style game with the engine in those screens. That would be magnificent.

But it does look like they are doing something new with the genre, so that is good.

It's also set on the Eastern Front, which is more overlooked as far as WWII goes here in the US.

You know, we say that, but it seem like the last five wargame releases were for Eastern Front.  :P

But it does still look cool. I like the 3D aspect. It reminds me of a game released a while back that I forget the name... big satellite map, semi-3D chits... anyone remember that?

The boardgame series is pretty neat.

I've got the second module, the Kursk one and the expansion for it (the Poland invasion one).

I was surprised that it will be in 3d! A pleasant surprise actually.
Also since board games are known to have so few scenarios, they have added a lot more scenarios in the game. And also a scenario maker!

I have the board game and really love it.  The game looks cool but I'll miss pushing the units around the board.

How is the Polish expansion? I've eyed it in stores a few times but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Definitely excited to see how this turns out. The board games are great, and it sounds like they have the rights to the entire series and are adding some new content as well.

Haven't had a chance to try the expansion out yet, despite owning it for so long :(
