and not in a bad way...

lately, it's been

it's not a masterpiece, just a well-constructed pop song.  But it was on one of those late-night mix tapes I had back in college with stuff like "Jackie Brown" from John Mellencamp, and "20th Century" from Brad

what's stuck in your head lately?

The key to surviving this site is to not say something which ends up as someone's tag line - Steelgrave

"their citizens (all of them counted as such) glorified their mythology of 'rights'...and lost track of their duties. No nation, so constituted, can endure." Robert Heinlein, Starship Troopers

I've been on a 'rock bands with female singers' kick lately.

Certainly not close to the heaviest Halestorm song ever, but I can't get the damn thing out of my head : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdEmsYOOQjU

On the polar opposite side of things, we have The Gun Show by In This Moment : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwTv45OW5Yw   I've seen them live. And yes, that voice comes out of that chick.

And then there's The Donnas. Ah, the Donnas : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_f02lyIkUo   Again, fun to see live. 4 hot girls singing about getting wasted and getting laid.

Longdan

That one on my right...is that MegaDonna?
I wouldn't want to get caught between her

I would be quite happy if any of those ladies decided to take a seat on my face.  Particularly the bassist. :D

I couldn't make it through two minutes of that video!  BAD Staggerwing!  Bad!!  Although, it brings two questions to mind.  1) Where did you learn of that song.  2) Have you turned in your man card yet?

Ha! jest a li'l payback fer that Gaggynammy thing.  :D

That song was a meme on the World War 2 Online forums back in the early 2000s. There were a number of parodies done as well:

Irrational Exuberance (non WW2OL)

SmackD's WWIIOL "Yatta" (lots of inside jokes referencing various WW2OL bugs, personalities, and catchphrases)

That was quite possibly one of the most horrifying things I've seen this year.  Bad Staggerwing; go sit in the corner!
