Space Marine WH

I received Space Marine as an xmas gift (from my daughter's boyfriend!!)
Anyway you guys are good for opinions.  I see all the DLC on GG for
about a 1/2 a buk each.  What do you have to say?

Your daughter seems to have picked a good man.

I just checked both Steam and GG. It appears all the phat loot for about a buck are skins and special weapons. The skins are cool if you're into a particular chapter. I bought my copy at Gamestop because it had the Space Wolves skin (at release date each retail outlet had certain, exclusive skins). Now all skins are available as DLC.

There is one game upgrade, the Dreadnought expansion. I just bought it on Steam because it's 50% off -> $5. 

I haven't played it yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I don't own any of the power swords or anything, but I can see buying one or two just for fun. And it probably makes for a slightly improved playing experience.

That said, if you're not heavy into the WH40K lore, I'm not sure any of those weapons/skins will add to your gaming experience except for the Dreadnought one. It's a real new game type.

Thanks.  I just love buying in to yet another franchise.
BTW the guy is an ultranerd, doing things like wearing an orange
oversize Optimus Prime belt buckle to my niece's wedding.
