A single game for a desert isle

I always love to speculate on this question.  Is there one game that could satisfy me for a really, really long time if it was all I had to play?

I think, if I had to be stuck on a desert island, and I could only have one computer game, it would either be Medieval 2 Total War, OR War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition.

If I was really pressed to pick just one, the nod just barely goes to M2TW.  While WitP:AE is a great game, the one-dimensional aspect of it might get old after a while.  But, to finish the grand campaign once as the US, then once as Japan, and then once more doing a variable, non-historical approach...yes, that will take a good long while to finish and there is a lot of meat in WitP.  BUT, I like that M2TW has strategic and tactical aspects, and there are different countries, etc.  So, I think M2TW would be my pick.

It's a tough call, though.  When I was on deployment on the boat, which was several months and a lot like being on a desert island, I played a ton of WitP vanilla.  So...maybe that's the right call after all.

If it had to be a computer game it would be WinSPMBT (Steel Panthers). If a boardgame, SASL (Solitaire Advanced Squad Leader).

Panzer Corps, assuming wifi was available for multiplayer. Love this game on PBEM.

Probably Decisive Campaigns - Case Blue. I could lose myself long enough in that game on a desert Island. I'd hope it would come with coconuts filled with Malibu too!

This is a tough one. M2TW and CK2 are up there in the running.  But then there is Minecraft.  The almost endless replayability and the only limit being your imagination definitely keep it from getting stale.
