To continue this turns good news, wild undeads roam the land!  Killing them will bring me Gold, but, that's one more set of units in the middle of this fight that I don't need.

So, in order to take some of the pressure off, I offer Peace to Frosty.  Just wish he had more to give me.

Woohoo!  He accepts my peace proposal!  Now I can set a few things straight.  And the fact that he and the Bookworm are at war helps my cause, too.

It's a little difficult to see, but my Stubborn Knights took the brunt of the Assassins initial attack.  With a little judicious Spell use and a plink from the Iril Bows, my Ratman Pirates will hit for 15 and only take 13 in return.  If the pirates survive, I should be able to dispatch the creatures next Turn.

Another Spell research picked to move things along.  Is it useful?  Sure, but not with Upkeep and not now.

Another major boost in research.  The Demonologists Workshop gives me +12 Research points and adds more than a third to the existing total.

My Quest is completed!  The relationship bump is the most important, but I'll take the Gold, too.  I am showing the negative relationship with Lunord.  I suspect the lowest number I can hit is either -100 or 200.  I also suspect that you have to hit rock bottom in order to have the Avatar descend upon you.

Just in case the lowest negative number I can reach IS 200, I still need some major work.  Therefore, I will build Ratman Pirates and send them scouting.

The ability to build Minotaurs is good.  A solid unit that can move after attack is valuable.

Tornstring gains Immunity to banes.  If I can't have multiple Heroes, I will beef up the one that I do have!

Not much of a threat, as he has no troops immediately to hand.  I take that back, there are Zombies outside Preytown and two Carravs on the high seas.

Mana from research heaven!  Fertile Lands is one of the best spells, in my opinion.  They can turn ANY hex into a fertile hex.   And I haven't done enough research into it, but, a fertile Plains hex will produce more Food from a building than a non-fertile hex.  I don't believe the differece is enormous, but it is there.  The Spell also cleans any hex in the radius of effect. So, no more Swamps, or Lava, or Magic tainted lands.  And its Casting Cost is small.

I am soooooooo tempted to build a Temple to Helia.  I need to find out what the relationship bump is.  But, I still hold out hope I can get the free unit for completing the Temple as a Quest.

Rjakh's Zombies out power my Goblin Archers.  So, with my new Gold Pieces, I promote the Goblins to Sharpshooter.

And it immediately pays off!  I gain a level and bump my unit power +20%
