BTW.. to disable DLC, use the CK 2 game launcher.  NOT the in-game thing.  You can scroll through all the packages at the bottom and check/uncheck them before hitting PLAY.

Sunset Invasion is not listed among the DLC on the CK2 launcher.

I've tried deselecting all the DLCs listed on the launcher, starting a game, exiting, restarting the launcher, and Sunset Invasion is still not shown on the CK2 launcher.

You have to download it in the DLC list in-game.  Then exit.  Then start the Launcher exe and it should be there (now) to check or uncheck.

Kinda ass-backwards, I know.  I wasn't terribly impressed with Pdox' implementation.  Why didn't they just release the installers for the game and DLC separately and then have the update button as before?  More control over the user??!  :-\  Gotta log in now to d/l your DLC and upates, even in the GG version.  So much for trying to avoid forced server logins when getting updates - the whole reason people asked for a GG version in the first place.  ::)

Okay. The only DLC list I saw ingame was the one in the store. When I clicked on some of the DLCs I had purchased  from GamersGate, I was given the option to "reinstall" them. After "reinstalling" them, exiting the game, and restarting, the missing DLCs were present on the launcher and I now have the option to select them or not.

Thanks for the assist! Now I don't have to worry about "Injuns" from the Americas showing up in my historical games.

Nefaro :) you just sparked a pet hate I'm having with Steam at the moment.

I know it's slightly off topic, but I'd just observe that after a recent Steam update, Steam now requires any game under Steam to periodically login to Steam to play. Steam puts up a notice now saying Steam "can't find login info on your computer". You have to restart on line and miraculously my login info is "refreshed", even though I haven't actually reinput the data. So, it must have remained on my PC all along, save that Steam wants to periodically jerk my chain. I play "offline" without exception with games requiring a Steam Account, so it's irritating to have to do this regularly. It wasn't the case a few months ago. I raised it with Steam Support who say that nothing can be done and that it is in response to some developers wanting users to periodically log into Steam. Let me guess.. EA pressing Steam to go back to constant relogging of user data by the back door? I'm pissed off with this. I bought my games legit. I have the unique Steam Account, whose activation numbers they won't let me transfer if I want to and now this pandering to piracy paranoia. As a legit user, I'm ANGRY at the further inconvenience. >:(

I don't use Steam unless there is absolutely no other way to play a game that I felt I didn't want to miss out on (Civilization V, Warlock: Master of the Arcane, for example).

I feel the same.

I readily concede that there are some advantages to using Steam like automatic updates and having a restore point, but aside from that - as I play offline - I'd rather just run my game from disk.

I wouldn't be so grumpy, if I had been given the option to use Steam, like you had with older games and Gamespy, but sadly Steam operates on a quasi monopoly of some good games. Even if you don't want Steam, you are forced to have it if you want the game. :'(

I see Sunset Invasion on my list.  I uncheck it before I hit play.  Some day I'll welcome the invading Aztec hordes.
