CK2: The Old Gods Interview

I picked this up tonight and had to quit two seperate games.  There is something funky going on with the AI and using wars of excommunication as the DOW.  I'd type more but I'm still pissed that I wasted 4 hours of my life on this game tonight.

So.. are the 'Holy War' claims (against anyone of a different religion) turning into widespread Eurasian war in the earlier start  now, with more pagans? 

It was bad enough before on the 1066 start, with just some of the Baltic & Eastern pagan groups starting next to some Christian ones.  The devs hoped to slow down the DOWs by giving AI pagan armies a big boost in quantity at game start.  I can only imagine how bad it is now that the earlier period has more varied religions in higher quantity.   

This is one of the few potential issues I've been concerned about with the new DLC, when I get it.   I've been hoping they'll patch up some things by the time I get to it, but I've found that some at Pdox don't always take AI suggestions well, so it would probably have to be a ruleset adjustment.
