It's a Yuri Gagarin Friday!

It was this day back in 1961 that Gagrin became the first man in space. He orbited the Earth once in 108 minutes. I find it to be one of the crowning achievments of mankind, to break the bonds of gravity and go hurtling through space.

In celebration of Man's achievement, I will be playing a bunch of Warlock. I know, I know, one has nothing to do with the other, but, SOMEbody has to each those Soviets not to fool with our powerful mages.

For sure i will be playing and rounding up some PBEM games for both WINSPWW2 & WINSPMBT since they got patched up to newer versions.

This week i started a new adventure of Darklands thru Dosbox so i probably resume that one as well.

Also looking forward for some FSX; MIITW: Stainless Steel Mod 6.4 and Strike Fighters 2 with Nato Fighters mod.

Setting up OOTP14 mostly. Maybe some EU3 or Victoria 2 (to prepare for Heart of Darkness!).

I'll be mostly playing Commander: The Great War...still trying to win my first game.

On my list i have 3 games by Wasteland but not sure which one i am going to play: Strategic War in Europe, Time of Fury and Storm over the Pacific.

I am going to have a free week so i plan to play Heroes of Annihilitated Empires next week.

Gaming time will be very limited this week but I hope to get some Far Cry 3 in and some boardgaming.

Some M2TW with Stainless Steel 6.3 as the French. I am amazed at how good this game still looks after 7 years. May also continue on in Skyrim and pick up Dragonborn DLC if the price goes down, and Dishonored DLC next week.

Anguille I am running Stainless Steel 6.3 because I could not get 6.4 to run properly so don't feel bad. If you could ever get it to run you would love it.

Well I'll be playing some Dominions 3 to prepare myself to be slaughtered in the Groghammer MP game.

I'll also be going back to Conquest of Elysium 3.

I believe the Pre-Orderers get it a couple days earlier (i.e. this weekend) and it's released on the 15th.

I've been in Wait & See mode just to make sure no big kinks are present at first.

Well this is the upgrade year for me. My last version was 2011. I didn't pre-order though maybe I should have.

I don't think you saved any money by pre-ordering.. just got the game a couple days earlier. Of course, there will be inevitable patches so I figured may as well wait until official release since there'll likely be a last minute one anyway.
