I really liked the way that the season wrapped-up and linked to the events in the Winter Soldier.

But is Agent Ward a bad guy, or double-double agent?  My vote is the latter.

Yeah, I think he's not gone over to the Dark Side either. I'm starting to feel a little like the show is an advertisement for the movies. But I like it anyway.

The most recent episode was great. The tie-in with the new Cap movie was well done. Nice to have some payoff for the weaker episodes in the early going.

Any thoughts on the season-ender? It didn't really fire me up for next season. Maybe there'll be a Guardians of the Galaxy tie-in. Colson in space. ;D

I really hope so.  I loved the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer!

But the season isn't over.  There are still 4 more episodes to go.  The season finale airs May 13, 2014.

Yeah maybe a little. But I think Ward is toast. He's killed too many good guys to be a double, triple, quadruple agent. Or Hydra turns him in to a super-villain and he goes out ala-Darth Vader. Redeemed at the last moment.

Hell, I want to see Ward die at this point. If the writers/producers try to redeem him and keep him alive, I'll be extremely disappointed.

Ugh, I hope they don't play it that way. I like the way Ward's betrayal has shaped the story and how it will impact the team going forward. If he does survive, he has potential as a long term, major nemesis. It wouldn't be unprecedented in a Whedon show for a major character to go from good to bad (and possibly back to good eventually) and continue to be part of the show for multiple seasons.

Still I want him dead. Especially for murdering Agent Koenig!

The more I think about it, the more I agree with Dr.Q.  Agent Ward is toast.  Agent Triplett (the grandson of a Howling Commando) can replace Ward as the team's "Specialist".
