Steam summer sale

I've been tracking the entire sales so far.
Including the Flash sales.

Civ 5 and nearly all its DLCs were on a flash sale, but BNW was the only one that was not.


Has Steam decided to expand its controversial policy of game availability/pricing per-country to also include discounts now?!

After perusing the Steam forum, it seems it was actually on sale for a while (strange thing, must not have been the whole time then).
And this has sparked a huge (and justified) rage on behalf of those who pre-ordered only to find the game discounted immediately upon release.

BNW was at a much lower discount because it just came out a week or two ago. There is no controversy beyond disgruntled bargain shoppers.

Oh, and add Darksiders II and the mission DLC packs to my tally. So far, I'm sticking to my wishlist and not straying. So far...

I broke down and got all 3 of the Dishonored DLC.

BNW's release date is July 12.
Which is the same date that it apparently got discounted on :P

Anyway, I just got a popup in Steam telling me that BNW wasn't meant to go on sale and because I paid the preorder price Steam gives me a copy of Civ 4 for free.

Man, I should never check the Steam Sale..... just bought Tropico 4 Collectors Bundle, includes all DLC, on the flash sale for $8.

When am I going to have time to even try it out...... :P
