Command Ops: Battles for Greece

SPECIFICALLY this is an expansion pack for BFtB. You must own BftB first. But it's an expansion pack that ports half the missions of CotA. (They did the same thing with the Highway To The Reich missions a little while back, released as an expansion pack to BftB.)

19 historical and what-if scenarios covering all of the major actions that took place during Operation Marita, the German invasion of Greece in 1941 as well as a few battles from the previous Italian invasion of Greece

As I said, it's not CotA as CotA doesn't run under Win 7.  There are no Crete scenarios; another add-on in coming as MikrGer said.

Huh? ... CotA runs fine under Windows 7.

Wee bit disappointed in the new 'Greece' addon. Lot of money, even with the CotA discount,  for only 19 scenarios, .. when I have 32 scenarios, or 34 if you include the 2 Tutorial scenarios, .. in CotA.

.. now, .. if they had included all the CotA scenarios, that would be a different matter.

I can understand at first glance why people may feel this way[it was my first reaction] but there has been a whole heap of changes under the hood. I played BFTB demo and then tried to go back to the original HTTR and i can't do it...HTTR is a fine game but the difference between then and now for the engine is like night and day.  I'm just waiting for the other Pack to release and then i'm going to pick up the whole lot.  It will be my one and only price be damned purchase of this year.

I'd agree that the engine upgrades in bftb are worth upgrading from the earlier games.   However if a game is enjoyable I completely understand feeling no need to move to a new engine.

Value for game-play only Combat Mission comes close.

Easy and exciting purchase.

Playing Bulge as a staff exercise at Origins a couple years ago only made me appreciate this engine more.  Its A.I. is as close as I've come to confronting the WOPR.

I think the only information on the tactic game is a few scattered post at matrix by ajurna.   I haven't seen any official threads or news releases.

The product page mentions 21 scenarios, but I am only showing 19 in game and seem to be missing the two intro scenarios, Bridges to Lamia (which I loved) and Setback and Rebound

That did confuse me...they say only 19 available, but in the list they had 21....I just assumed they weren't counting the 2 training scenarios as actual scenarios....

They didn't show up for me neither....looks like false advertising:)  Description says 19 comes with it, but the lists shows 21.
