I got the beer covered but I don't get into New Haven much anymore so I have to make do with the local 'zza. Not bad but not Sally's, Pepe's, or Modern. Still, getting the goods in a fraction of the time it takes to watch an episode of 'Castle' has a charm of it's own...  :D

Finally started my first full-on, "no-messing-around" campaign in Shogun 2.  I'm going with the Hojo clan, my traditional favorite from the original STW; I love that they have cheap castles again (just like in the first game).  :) 


For my 4x fix, I think I'm gonna fire up Armada 2526 Supernova.  I've had a certain craving for it the last couple days, and I finally found & installed the bloody disks! 

I don't know what's wrong with me- nothing's grabbing my attention.

I might just need some food and a beer and an attitude adjustment.

Most likely I will continue my Football Manager game. After being top of the table halfway through the season with Farnsborough in Blue Square South, we dropped to 5th, and got knocked out of the promotion playoffs by Dover in a penalty shootout (I guess away goals weren't used). The board refused to up the salary budget, and all the players want more money. So I resigned and then got offered a job at Tamworth. Other possibilities for the weekend:

Distant Worlds
Panzer Command: Ostfront

I also want to fire up a fresh game of AI War this weekend.  I'll need to brew a pot of coffee to juice up for that one.

The game was rating their pitch as much better than Farnsborough. It did also tell me they were ok financially, but they are over $300k in debt.

Probably one of my best gaming moments ever was gaining promotion to conference national with Cambridge City years ago.
